Jongleurs award winner (Best Performer 2000/ 2001) Rudi Lickwood is one of the busiest acts on the UK comedy circuit, with a sense of humour and razor-sharp material that appeals to all audiences. A super confident playful personality and oozing charisma, his infectious charm has made him a desirable commodity for television and radio work, as well as conferences and product launches. On top of his comedy club performances, Rudi also performs all over the world from Singapore to Dubai and regulary entertains the troops fpr CSE in remote locations such as Afghanistan, Bosnia and the Falklands.
His TV credits include Mega Mela Malai comedy, 100 greatest TV treats, The Last Word, The Stand-Up show, Haert of Harlesden and Banged up Stand up.He also has done warm up for TV on programmes such as The National Lottery Jet Set, Top Gear and the Weakest Link. Rudi has done a variety of work on radio including The Big Bunch for GLR and London Marathon for Radio 5.
He has a street wise attitude which appeals to the audience and his ability to chat and go off on tangents has also gained him the reputation as a leading compere in the comedy world.
Up and coming television and media projects for 2007 include; Funny Business- Rudi judges new comedy talent in a 4 part series (BBC- Oct/Nov 07), Back in Business (BBC 2), Get me the producer (CH4), plus a nationwide project with Mediatheme hosting the most comprehensive comedy entertainment system to date. Rudi has also presented awards and peforming at high profile events for companies such as American Express, British Telecom Heinz, Diaego and Coca-Cola. Recoginition of his achievements came in 2004 as Rudi received the prestigious honour of the BECA comedy award for outstanding contribution to comedy.
