Paul Tonkinson
Brilliant & quirky comic star
Paul Tonkinson is one of the funniest and busiest comedians on the comedy circuit. When he's not appearing on TV, he regularly performs to huge crowds not just in this country but his popularity has also taken him to Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Tonkinson's irresistible banter as made him a forces favourite. He regularly entertains the troops in Afghanistan, Falklands, Barcelona, Kosovo, Malta, Egypt, Kuwait and most recently Iraq. This experience spurred him to write a brand new hilarious one man show 'War Stories' which he will perform at this year's Edinburgh Fringe. Paul was the first comic to perform in Iraq after the war officially ended. There were 2,500 troops in the middle of the desert, 45 degrees heat, a sandstorm, tanks on either side of the stage, Tonks, four dances and a Bee Gees tribute band!
When he's not goofing around on stage, Paul is a keen athlete and accomplished this year's London Marathon in only 3 hours and 90 minutes.
